What happens when we die introduction - Rooi Mier
I have done a series of lectures on the above subject. We are all touched by death as human beings, yet there is no consensus on our destination immediately after death. With these lectures I want to look at what the Bible says about this topic. I will just briefly touch on what perceptions there are, but I will not go into depth, otherwise this series will get to long. It is interesting to know but I want to get into scripture.
You might ask why? The short answer is because it is part of scripture; and if it is scripture we need to know the facts. God, in His infinite wisdom decided that He wants to share this knowledge with us through scripture.
I have noticed with previous lectures that we don not want to read long passages any more, so I will try to keep it short, but it will result in more postings.
