What happens when we die 3

Do you think that with satan as the god of the dead there will be deceptions concerning death? Yes.

In fact, the first deception about death was in the garden, Eden; the first lie about immortallity.

God said to Adam in the garden:

Gen 2:16-17 ".............. Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

satan took this and turned it around. he firstly made Eve doubt the correctness of the command. Remember, God told Adam, not her, because she was not yet created. So what she knew was hearsay.

Gen 3:1 "........... Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

Then he made God a liar:

Gen 3:4 ".......... You will not surely die."

This was the first lie about immortallity. If your not going to die after you have sinned, you would live forever. The Bible clearly states; "The soul who sins shall die." (Eze 18:20) According to satan, that is not true.

After that he revealed his aspiration of wanting to be God.

Gen 3:5 "For God knows in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

The following verses describe his aspirations.

Isa 14:12-14

How you are fallen from heaven,

O Lucifer, son of the morning!

How you are cut down to the ground,

You who weakened the nations!

For you have said in your heart:

I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my thrown above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation,

On the farthest sides of the north;

I will ascend abov the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.

He then made her use her senses to get her to eat. She SAW it was good and DESIRED to be wise (God).
